Welcome to the official website of Vera Prakashan, a literary publishing house based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Vera Prakashan accepts product returns only in cases where the book delivered to the customer is damaged, defective, or materially damaged.

A return request will not be accepted for reasons such as change of mind, incorrect book selection, personal preference, or dissatisfaction with the content of the book.

1. Eligibility for Return

A book may be eligible for return if:

  • The book is damaged during delivery.
  • The book is materially defective.
  • The book has significant physical damage that affects its usability.
  • The wrong book has been delivered, subject to verification.

The condition of the product will be reviewed before a return is approved.

2. Unboxing Video Is Mandatory

For any return request related to a damaged or defective book, providing a clear and continuous unboxing video is mandatory.

The unboxing video should:

  • Be recorded while opening the package for the first time.
  • Clearly show the sealed package before it is opened.
  • Clearly show the shipping label on the package.
  • Show the complete unboxing process without interruption.
  • Clearly show the condition of the book after opening the package.
  • Clearly show the damage or defect being claimed.

If a proper and continuous unboxing video is not provided, Vera Prakashan may not accept or process the return request.

Photographs alone may not be sufficient to approve a return claim.

3. Return Request

If you receive a damaged or defective book, please contact Vera Prakashan promptly after receiving the order.

When submitting a return request, please provide:

  • Order number.
  • Customer name and relevant order details.
  • Complete unboxing video.
  • Photographs of the damaged or defective book, if available.
  • A brief description of the issue.

Our team will review the information and determine whether the product qualifies for return.

4. Return Approval

A return will be approved only after verification of the reported damage or defect.

If the claim is approved, Vera Prakashan may arrange for the return of the product and, depending on the circumstances and availability, provide a replacement or other appropriate resolution.

Customers should not send a product back without receiving return instructions from Vera Prakashan.

5. Products Not Eligible for Return

Returns will generally not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind.
  • Incorrect book selection by the customer.
  • Personal preference.
  • Dissatisfaction with the subject or content of the book.
  • Minor printing, binding, or finishing variations that do not materially affect the usability of the book.
  • Damage caused after delivery by the customer.
  • Products returned without the required evidence.
  • Claims without a proper unboxing video.

6. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking the package and product at the time of delivery and preserving the packaging and product in its received condition if any damage is discovered.

Customers should not discard the original packaging until the return request has been reviewed and resolved.

7. Return Shipping

If a return is approved because the product was delivered damaged or defective, Vera Prakashan will provide appropriate instructions regarding the return of the product.

Return shipping arrangements, where applicable, will be determined on the basis of the nature of the approved claim.

Vera Prakashan accepts returns only for books that are delivered damaged or defective. A clear and continuous unboxing video is mandatory for any damaged or defective product return request. Without the required unboxing video, the return request may not be accepted.
